Sacred Forest Reviews & Ratings

  • It's such a culturally rich place. You get to see the statues made for different gods and different concepts. For me, it was interesting to see that they were a number of parallels with the history (and gods) in the Yoruba culture. You can go around the forest but there are some places that are off limits, you can't go there except you're an initiate. The place could do with some better management though.

  • Fascinating place. Loved the sculptures and the history. Need a local guide to make sense of it.

  • Learn about the history of voodoo. A sacred forest for voodoo worshippers. Paid 1000CFA to enter plus an extra 1000CFA to take pictu6
