Situated on Main Street, Ouray, Ouray Hot Springs Pool and Fitness Center is a popular weekend getaway for locals. It is more than 80 years old, and provides some amazing amenities for families. It consists of several naturally occurring hot springs, which are purified to remove the usual unpleasant smell of sulfur. They have three different sections of temperatures ranging from 88 degrees to 105 degrees. In addition to this, they have professional lap swimming pools, and a quite deep diving area. This place was first established in the 1920s, and is a location of historical significance.

Ouray Hot Springs Pool And Fitness Center Reviews & Ratings
A very nice place with a large shallow pool with thermal waters and another full size pull next to it (colder, not sure if thermal or regular water). Great views if surrounding mountains, especially pleasant in the mornings and evenings, when the sun is not so direct and hot. Clean, good changing rooms and showers.
We had a great time soaking in the springs while enjoying the beautiful scenery. My daughter loved the slides and obstacle course. You are able to come and go and we came back after dinner to enjoy at nighttime (a lot less people). A great stop in Ouray!
We took our family today after a few days of hiking and exploring the area. The pools weren’t very busy and there was plenty of space. The hot pools were hotter, especially the adults only pools, but not normal hot springs hot. We didn’t use any of the on-site changing or showering facilities as we were staying nearby. Our 4 kids 8-14 years old had a good time, though our youngest couldn’t manage to pass the 100 yard swim test. $15 per kid for entrance including water slides is pretty steep for a family when adults are $18 each. We didn’t eat any of the overpriced food and elected to leave and have lunch off-site and come back for a much better value. Overall I’d say the pools themselves were a 4/5 and my kids loved the water slide. I’d give the value a 1/5. We experienced the lifeguards to be friendly and attentive except one very strict young teenager that was quite rude to many kids and adults - 3/5. Don’t make these hot springs your destination! Enjoy the rest of this incredible town and if you’ve run out of awesome things to do and want to try and relax a bit then go here. 3/5 is generous, but 2/5 would be unfair. I hope this helps another family make a good decision!
Great soak! There is rv parking on the other side of the park just to the south of the pools. Access it from town - the next street south, I think. Gold Belt Bar and Grill are on the corner. Convenient and low stress parking with adequate turn around and a nice walk in the park to the pool. Towel rentals and lockers are available.
Great little place. The price was high considering what you got, but overall nice. Location is slightly awkward because the two mountains block a lot of sun, so if you like the sun, so around the middle of the day!
