Enjoyed the privacy of a little courtyard room. My upstairs neighbor was a little stompy, but it wasn't terribly distracting. The old fashioned decor wasn't my style, but I imagine it appeals to others. Loved having a door to the outside. Breakfast was great! Did the full English one morning (so much food!) and just grazed from the bar other mornings. Location was pretty good - not in downtown Oxford, but only a short walk away. All in all, would go back.
Service overall was very good. The room was a good size and the facilities were excellent. The location of the hotel is very convenient and the city centre is just a few minutes away on foot. Our room in the courtyard area was delightful and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommended.
Great location with ample parking. Our room was a little small but the service was excellent.
What a great hotel , spotless, great breakfast, friendly staff , great location for exploring oxford
Enjoyed high tea itself. Sandwiches and desserts were obviously premade, with the latter tasting slightly freezer burnt. Crumpets, however, were delicious.
