Great War Museum Reviews & Ratings
The museum has a modern set up , so more telling the story of the conflict with interactive displays and personal items . The film at the start was excellent and you can choose the following languages French, English, German and Dutch (the only problem is it plays the selected language, difficult if someone choose a language you don't understand) side note pay attention to the warning before watching the reconstructive surgery videos. They are not for the squeamish.
Not the biggest museum I've been too but I did find the 3D map of the World War 1 battles in the area very interesting. So worth it just for that. The various kit and uniform layouts was good too.
very well done, if a bit word dense, ww1 museum. fantastic display of different equipment and uniforms juxtaposed with propaganda posters and art from all parties involved.
I thought that this museum presented bot sides of the conflict very well and fairly. There were many things explained to me about the every soldier, that I just did not know. Thanks for a great visit.
Fantastic and very informative museum on the Great War. The displays are very well done with good information panels. Very recommended.
