Home of the award winning Kilkerran Single Malt, the Glengyle Distillery started its journey in 1872 and after a series of ups and downs, the distillery finally came into limelight in 2004. The limited edition of Kilkerran Single Malt which is 12 years old, is the highlight among the samples you will get to taste. The other whiskies offered by Glengyle Distillery are the Kilkerran 8 years old, Kilkerran Work in Progress 1-4, Bourbon and Sherry matured Work In Progress varieties and Mitchell’s Glengyle Blend. They offer distillery tours and tasting tours too where you will not only get to taste the authentic whiskies but also learn about the processing of the whiskies. These are guided tours and you will need to book beforehand.
