Sprawling over fifty acres far from the din and bustle of the town, the picturesque Drakenstein Lion Park is a safe abode to a plethora of lions and chimps born in captive and visitors are welcome to learn about their story while enjoying a safari. Located in the heart of the Cape Winelands, the Drakenstein Lion Park houses animals from around the world that are unable to thrive in wilderness and hence, they offer a natural and safe habitat to them so that they can flourish without any persecution. The Lions and Lionesses, especially those white ones are beautiful, as are the Caracals and Serval Cats. The Chimp Haven houses a few agile chimps whom you will see playing, swinging and jumping about in their habitat.
