Upper antelope canyon is truly nature’s wonder and is known for its wide spectra of sunbeams reflected and refracted from the curves and ridges of the canyon walls. Here you can get the sight of water passing through the rocks by the Navajo. The entrance of the antelope is at the ground level and so does not require any climbing. You need to visit this place during the months of summer as the light is perfect at that time and it creates a perfect setup for landscape photography. Tourists get surprised to find the appearance of beams on March 20 and its sudden disappearance on October 7 every year at the Upper antelope canyon.

Upper Antelope Canyon Reviews & Ratings

  • Completely breathtaking. This is a must see during your visit to Arizona. Just try and time it accordingly so that you can get the sunlight but the guides do a good job of guiding you through the canyon. You will notice that there are a lot of tourists so you might feel that it had lost its charm but I would still recommend a visit.

  • Upper Antelope Canyon is beautiful - you have to take a tour to get there. We went in winter which was less crowded but summer i hear is the best time to visit to see the sunlight dance. We visited lower antelope canyon right after which in my opinion is more beautiful. No restrooms here - so go before you start

  • A jaw-dropping experience. Definitely a must-visit if you're in town for Vegas. You can either drive here yourself or come with a tour. I personally went with the latter and had no issues at all. Once you're here, you're to get in groups and ride on one of the trucks to reach the entrance of the canyon. The ride itself was bumpy so hold on tight. When you're inside the canyon, it will be packed with tourists. The local tour guides will be there to lead the way. Snap as many photos as you can, your only regret will be that you didn't take enough. If you're bringing a camera, be sure to cover it in a bag or some sort because it's raining sand everywhere in there.

  • I think I cannot describe the beauty with just few words here ...pictures attached speaks them all ...just amazing ! Incredible beauty ! Nature is all one should care about !

  • It is a turist trap, so expensive, the staff was so mean, they treat you very bad except the driver that wants the Tip. Too many people. Looks better in the picture than what you can see.
