Wahweap Overlook Reviews & Ratings

  • Nice place for good view. On our way back from Kanab, on last day early morning, we realized it could be great spot for sunrise view. But due to tight timings we couldn’t stop there. But we were able to see nice sunrise colors on that side. Probably you could give it a try if possible.

  • My wife and I had never seen lake Powell before. This overlook was great to see how large and beautiful the lake is. Very easy to get off and back on the road. Was not too busy either. Would definitely recommend spending a few minutes to stretch your legs and take a look and this beautiful lake. The road is paved to the top, then turns to gravel in the parking area.

  • Stop by if you have some extra time and want to take few good pics. Not much crowded. Ample parking space. Bathrooms facility available.

  • Great view of Lake Powell. Very short drive off the highway and you don't have to pay the park fee to go up there

  • The view is amazing. Very, very windy, but extremely hot. The best viewpoint of the lake.
