Located by the Grand River, the Kiwanis Recreation Park with its hiking trails and sports features, is a perfect place for both the kids and adults. Covering an area of 75 acres, the Kiwanis Recreation Park has nine softball and baseball diamonds that are used both by the tourists and the local students from the nearby colleges and schools. There is also a basketball court, an 18-hole disc golf course, hockey field, skate park and two play areas. The half a mile trail along the Grand Riverbank is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the murmuring sound of the river. You can also try your hands in fishing at the pond and the river. The picnic shelter is equipped with tables, barbeque grills and access to the restrooms.
