Martello Tower is a defensive fort whose history can be traced back to 19th century. The fort has been made fire resistant with the construction of thick walls made of solid masonry supported with a round structure. Interiors are made in the classic British style and you will find two storeys in the tower. There is a cistern that was meant to supply water to the garrisons and tourists get astonished looking at the internal drainage system that is made with skilled artistry. Martello Tower has an ideal platform where you can find several pieces of artilleries that are on display.
