This beach is the most visited attraction in the town of Palaiokastritsa. The water here is really clean and it provides you a great option for a day spend with your friends for an entire day. There is a basic shower for you to have a bath and the restaurants and taverns are decently priced. There is also ample parking space and all in all is a perfect option for a picnic or just relaxing. The views of the mountains and rocks are breathtaking!

Palaiokastritsa Beach, Palaiokastritsa Reviews - Write a Review

  • Nice beach. It is worth spending time here. Despite the end of the season (October) a lot of people. However, it is better to borrow a boat and visit beaches that are much more beautiful.

  • The only sandy beach in Paleokastritsa, placed in a beautiful golf, where you can also take trips to caves and other beaches. There are also some good restaurants here, right on the beach, as I recommend Niko's for the great sea food. There are also umbrellas with sunbeds for rent. And of course, the water is crystal clear and you can see many fishes underwater. And if you like to make jumps, there are some rocks good for this.

  • Beautiful beach, the waters are nice and calm. The view is incredible. The only issue is if it was cold it windy the day before then the waters will be on the cold side. Still it should be in your list of beaches to visit when in Corfu.

  • Visited mid July - Very busy but very well kept with showers available. The water is crystal clear. The beach itself is more pebbles/stones than sand, more rocky as you step into the sea. I seem up to the end of the floats and the current wasn't too strong. Food services near by could be a little better as mentioned by a previous review, but for the views - must visit place.

  • Lovely mid sized sandy beach. Waters are blue and fantastic to swim in. Only gets 4 stars because it just gets so damned busy. Definitely worth a visit. :-)
