Palaiokastritsa Beach - Review
This beach is the most visited attraction in the town of Palaiokastritsa. The water here is really clean and it provides you a great option for a day spend with your friends for an entire day. There is a basic shower for you to have a bath and the restaurants and taverns are decently priced. There is also ample parking space and all in all is a perfect option for a picnic or just relaxing. The views of the mountains and rocks are breathtaking!

Nice place for a dive in the see. Unfortunately the tourist come here bus after bus, so it doesn't feel special anymore. However, beautiful scenery and amazing water. Parking spots along the road.
Paleokastritza village (or small town) and the beach there is one of the places to visit while in Corfu Island. A boat ride in the area costs 10 euro a person and it's worth it. It took us all the way to Paradise beach which was another lovely place in that area. You could take a bus from Corfu to the place for around 3 euros and make sure you get back on time, for the return bus again. Or do as we did, if you are 4 persons, rent a car for a day (25 euros) and enjoy driving and stopping on the way. It's much nicer! There are small beaches and places to see in this island but this had the beat water. There is a public beach so no need to pay to be there. Enjoyed swimming there although beware of the huge stones in the water, it's not that easy to get out..lots of restaurants but the food is not cheap.. Make sure to visit this place before you leave this island...
I give the beach and its beautiful surroundings a 5 star. Very busy beach. Its a must see if visiting corfu. However its very unfortunate that many idiots visit that choose to litter and leave the beach dirty. One day it looked like there were more cigarette butts than sand. Plus bottles, beer caps, even diapers left behind by people too lazy to keep this beach beautiful. Such a shame for a place this beautiful.
Around 8 the sun is setting, so the view is very nice. There was a little bit of rain and grey clouds with thunder, but this didn't ruin the mood. The water is crystal clear and calm! Overall a nice day to spend at Agios Spiridon Beach.
Awesome location. Less touristy then other beaches. Clear water to swim in. Good food locally.
