Ayuntamiento - Review
Ayuntamiento (town hall) otherwise known as the council of a municipality was built in the 15th century. It is strategically placed in a square right in the center of Casco Viejo. The town hall has a more appealing appearance after dark when it is beautifully lit up. It is the spot in Pamplona where the city gathers during the San Fermin festival for the Bull Run. The entrance of the building has two stone sculptures of Prudence and Justice belonging to the 17th century. The first floor of the building has a lavish official Reception Room, the Mayor's office and the Council Chamber. The Town Hall is a much recommended visit in Pamplona especially if you have leisure time at hand.
- The entry to the town hall is free.
- Group visits require prior appointment.
- Click a picture outside the town hall to add to your book of memories.
- There is no train station nearby.
