Anjuna is one of those beaches that make Goa super-popular for tourism. Laid-back and fun, this beach is a great destination for an evening out. It comes as no surprise then that this beach is really well-liked among travelers to Goa.

Although there isn’t much place to swim at this beach tourists love to just sit on the rocks and take in the sun set. Another interesting crowd puller is the flea-market that the beach hosts on every Wednesday. You can buy trinkets, souvenirs as well as clothes here. Even otherwise, there is a tiny market on the way to the beach that sells colorful clothes and accessories. Anjuna beach is hence a much loved beach of Goa that should definitely make every itinerary where the main purpose is to have a great time.

  • There are many beaches but this one is quite secluded and therefore you won't children Crying here and there . There are crabs on the stones so do wear sandals. There are shacks and pubs which host parties so definitely you can go there for parties even. Since it's less crowded it's even cleaner than other beaches.

  • Nice waves to enjoy in water, less crowded. Water comes quite near the end of the beach at certain places. It's a rocky beach and has lots of stones coming under your feet even when under water. Swimming can be dangerous sometimes. There is a flea market nearby which starts from December for few months, displays locally made products which are artistic in nature.

  • Anjuna beach may be very famous but I didn't like it. I reached here at 8 o clock in the night. Reaching here all the way from Arpora market was like a hell of journey. The way to Anjuna was pathetic. Accompanied by my wife, I was scared at times because there was not a single creature visible on many roads. Some of the roads were completely dark and scary. It took me 35 minutes to travel a distance of 7 km. The beach wad also not worth the time spent reaching there. Dirty, scary and full of anti social elements. We spent just 20 minutes and left. There was no proper lighting facility. There were some drunkards creating ruckus there. I didn't expect such scene in Goa.

  • Nice beach. Moderate crowd. Good options of water sports. If you are a group/couple you can take a package ride. For 2 people it costs about 1100 post bargaining for 3 rides (bike, banana, +1) For single person it costs about 400 for any one of the ride. For package, it will cost almost same. For bike, they ask you to drive by yourself, I suggest not to opt for it as they may ask 200-300. And you get only about 10secs to drive. For paragliding, it costs 800 per person. And they charge 200 extra if you take a water dip in between. Some people do get sea sickness, as they take you far from beach for this, and make you wait or change the boat. Royal in air time for it is about 30-60 secs. Anjuna Beach also has good restaurants next to east. You can find something of your choice.

  • My personal favourite beach in North Goa.. lovely pebbles adorn the sea shores... view of a hill on one side; stone reefs inhabited by small fishes and algae covers a small area on the shore; not so wide, not so long, but slightly steep shore line makes you feel in level with the waves.. I would rate it as the best in North Goa for the scenic beauty of the Sea line...
