Arvalem Waterfalls - Review
The Arvalem waterfalls are situated at a height of 70 feet, situated in the vicinity of the towns of Sanquelim and Bicholim. It is provincially situated in Valpoi taluka, North Goa. The pattern of the water falling is almost vertical and this is even more impressive rainy season. The fall looks astonishing with the boom of the water falling down the rocky landscape of the mountain situated behind it. Not far from this site are situated the fifth century Rock Cut hollows called the "Aravalem Caves”, which have been speculated to be the dwellings of the Pandavas. The Shree Rudreshwar Temple, which is also a short distance away, is the site Shivratri Zatra.
The Government has now set up a recreation center from which you can get a divine view of the waterfalls. This beautifully secluded natural wonder with its exquisite waters is the best place to enjoy nature’s bounty. The extremely popular site is also popular with the film industry as a shooting locale.

Arvalem Waterfalls, Panaji Reviews
Very good place to visit. There is enough water in October. Think how is it in monsoon season. Good place for family outing. You will feel relaxed. Sea and waterfall is the best thing to keep your mind calm. Waterfall located near an old Temple. Not a crowded place now. Some space available to sit near waterfall. Easily find route as there is enough signboard in road side. Better visit in monsoon. You can see the beauty
Amazing spot to have a hangout with our frnds. The gushing water gives you chills although you can't bath in the falls. It's great to look at and has an ancient Rudreshwar temple alongside. There is a viewing point and we are not supposed to go to the base of the falls. But the water force was so powerful that the water drops were literally hitting our faces. In monsoon the waterfall becomes more beautiful and more gorgeous with a massive water flow. It is Very well maintained and calm environment. Excellent Place for take Photo shoot.
Nice place to visit. Amazing waterfall, specially during mo soon it is at its best. Good spot for photographs. Rudreshwar temple is also at this place. Over all a nice place to spend couple of hours bathing in the river and visiting the temple. Not much food options around. The only decent restaurant around is on the main road. 👍👍
Awesome experience, the strength of the waterfall simply amazes you. In the monsoon the water flow is at its peak. The wind and the water will drench you quickly. Not feasible to go under the falls due to immense force. But wonderful experience
This is a natural waterfall and is really great. The only problem is that you can look and admire this beauty. You can't swim or bath there. It is not a big water falls. It is a very small one. The drive to this place from arpora in two wheelers especially in the mornings and evenings are eye candy. One thing to remember is to check if there is water before you go there. There are two ways to get down to get to the waterfalls from where you park your bikes. Also, there are sugarcane juice vendor and a small shop near the waterfalls. The hotel that was there was closed. Not sure if it for that day or permanently. Enjoyed. There is a fat pipe attached to the falls just incase you wanted to wet your feet or taste the water. The water is cold and sweet.
