The Arvalem waterfalls are situated at a height of 70 feet, situated in the vicinity of the towns of Sanquelim and Bicholim. It is provincially situated in Valpoi taluka, North Goa. The pattern of the water falling is almost vertical and this is even more impressive rainy season. The fall looks astonishing with the boom of the water falling down the rocky landscape of the mountain situated behind it. Not far from this site are situated the fifth century Rock Cut hollows called the "Aravalem Caves”, which have been speculated to be the dwellings of the Pandavas. The Shree Rudreshwar Temple, which is also a short distance away, is the site Shivratri Zatra.

The Government has now set up a recreation center from which you can get a divine view of the waterfalls. This beautifully secluded natural wonder with its exquisite waters is the best place to enjoy nature’s bounty. The extremely popular site is also popular with the film industry as a shooting locale.
