Bodega at Sunparanta, Althino is by far the best place for desserts in Panjim! Chef Vandana who is also the owner, has served the likes of Dalai Lama, George Clooney, Anna Wintour, George & Laura Bush and many more.
Her cakes have been ordered by Beyonce, Mariah Carey, and Ben Kingsley during her stint in New York! Okay now that your expectations have been raised..lets get down to the food!
Her menu changes everyday with a few favourites remaining constant. Her red velvet cupcakes are light and full of flavour. Her Mocha cupcakes are a big hit! Also a must try are her range of cakes and her eclairs.
On her menu is a range of sandwiches which change everyday. If you are lucky enough to be there on a day when BLT is on the menu, do not leave without trying it!!! you will regret!!!
Recently, Vandana has started breakfast orders with pancakes, waffles and baegals! She also has a pepperoni pizza that is loaded with pepperoni and cheese!Though one may think her prices are on the higher side, I personally feel its worth every rupee for the quality!

Bodega Cafe, Panaji Reviews - Write a Review
It's an awesome place. Calm and peaceful. Perfect music and great crowd. It can be a great work place to sit and brainstorm. You can get a date or come on a date with yourself too. Nice responsive and humble staff. It's also an art gallery so it's a feast for artists and art heads.
Awesome place. peaceful and calm. The taste is also amazing. You can come here with any company you wish. The best one is to come here with yourself. The staff is friendly and the it's also an art gallery which is a perfect combination for crazy minded artists. It's a must visit if you are in Panjim.
Its a hidden gem in the heart of panjim city. Located far away from the hustle bustle of the city , this place provides a sense of calmness and peace. Its located inside an converted art museum. The crowd is nice and the decor is authentic cafe style. They have self service but thats just for placing the order, you dont have to collect it. The prices are on the higher side though. We had a triple cheese sandwich , a crispy chicken burger , lemon fizz and a chocolate milkshake. The chocolate milkshake was heavenly and the chicken burger was good too. The lemon fizz looked dope and the triple cheese sandwich was just satisfactory.
Such a lovely quaint café inside an art gallery. They serve great coffee and snacks... their red velvet cupcakes are to die for. The best EVER. I also love love love their French toast soaked in syrup and caramelized bananas... Their chicken burgers and pesto mushroom sandwiches are yummy too. Only minus point being they close way too soon. I mean 7 is hardly a time to shut a café. Wish they were open all night!
This place is different from the others people usually find. You can experience the peace of a good neighborhood, and try their selection of products, at a relatively moderate cost. It's a place that should definitely be tried once, and I am sure, it won't be the last.
