Dias Beach, Panaji Reviews
A small beach with a jetty point and historical monuments..created in memory of a tragic love story. View from the top is awesome. Lot of local market and restaurants available. Small and beautiful beach. Overall nice experience to visit this place.
Nice beach. Not fine swim. Just for enjoyment...
A small beach with a tragic history involving love and suicide, the Dona Paula Beach is the closest tourist spot from Panaji. It offers plenty of to do in terms of water sports and sightseeing. The jetty right next to the beach is frequented by tourists who come there for the lovely view it offers of the Arabian Sea. The beach is home to the tragic myth that the ghost of Dona Paula emerges at night from the sea wearing only a necklace of pearls and searching for her love.
One of the best beaches in South Goa. Very neat and tidy with a spectacular view of the blue ocean. Tourists can enjoy water sports here. There is a story related to this place. Two lovers, Dona and Paola committed suicide to save themselves from the wrath of the girl's father. The beach Dias has been named in the memory of the lovers Dona-Paola.
