Palolem Beach - Review

This south Goa beach is a real treat for those who revel in the sun sand and the soothing sunsets. Being popularly known as the Paradise Beach of India, this beach has turned into one of the hotspot for adventure lovers and honeymooners. The beach is not as crowded as most other beaches in Goa and provides a fun as well as safe environment away from the craziness. Most importantly, the amazingly fresh sea-food which comes directly to this beach is not to be missed. Foodies are certain to have a great time here.

This crescent-shaped beach is lined with beautiful green palm trees and during the tourist season the atmosphere is always just right. You can swim in the pure blue water of the ocean or just laze about on the beach; the choice is entirely up to you! Alternatively, you can also take a boat ride to see the dolphins. You can also opt for an Ayurvedic Massage by the local masseuses, right there on the beach. Interestingly, there are also Yoga classes which are conducted on this beach. It’s nightlife on the other hand is completely dynamic. With large number of discos coming up near the beach, the place has definitely become one of the happening corners in Goa. Don’t miss out the Silent Noise parties, held on every Saturday.

  • Very calm and clean beach in south Goa. Worth for every penny you spend here. Its an amazing beach considering the views... Nights are simply awesome.. One of the best attraction is the boat ride to the nearby beaches like Butterfly Beach. There are some wonderful restaurants and bars, if you are looking for one. Its a pretty long beach and hence you can take a walk with your loved one's. For staying, hotels and resorts available near by, but better to stay in beach shacks itself. One of the safe beaches in Goa. Try visit in off season, so that the beach is less crowded and by that time price was reasonable too. Equally good for bachelor's and family. Must recommended to all...

  • Perhaps the best sea beach of India. Half circle, calm & quite, clean. Serenity unmatched. Not over crowded by hotels & resorts.....water sports.....awesome sunset view......areal stress burster. Love to go again and again.

  • Clean, tourist-friendly beach with plenty to see and do! There’s a single road leading to the waterfront that features vendors selling a variety of goods like clothing, ornaments, and food/beverages. There are also several restaurants to choose from, and a few locals selling fresh coconuts by the water. You’ll be joined by cows and a few dogs on the beach, but it’s hard to blame them for appreciating the natural beauty here. Tip: during low tide the northern end of the beach has a quiet rocky area with fantastic views of the sea!
