About Sinquerim Beach, Panaji

The Sinquerim Beach is a village in North Goa that hosts a slightly lesser known beach called the Sinquerim beach. It isn’t as popular as the Baga and Calangute beaches but it definitely attracts a steady crowd all throughout the year. The beach has an interesting access route through the palm trees.

Like all Goa beaches there are several shacks and shanty’s along the shoreline for all your refreshment needs. The beach does sometimes get pretty crowded but it isn’t too difficult to find a place to play in the water making it a really good option. Hence, enjoying water sports like water-skiing, para-sailing, fishing, scuba diving and windsurfing are possible when you are in Sinquerim Beach.

As the Fort Aguada, which is a tourist magnet of sorts, is also on this beach. And being the venue for the famous Sunburn festival (the largest music festival in Asia), it makes the beach quite popular with the tourists.

  • Scenic beauty with clean water and clean surroundings. Excellent options available for water sports. A must visit in Goa. My 5 star ratings to for an early morning walk on this amazing picturesque beach. From this beach you can go to Monkey island to see dolphins and for scuba diving too. Picturesque swimming & water-sports destination convenient to resorts & close to historic fort. Best place to view sunset and even sunrises..

  • Clean. Lovely to spend time leisurely. Quite a few water sports such as water scooter, para gliding, banana boats, etc. are available with accompanying help. Seemed to be quite safe. Many people were using them and enjoying. The waves were quite strong, but safe. Many shacks and beach restaurants were around to provide local sea food, drinks, etc.

  • Really fascinating beach among all other beaches in Goa, good for family as well as couples.. I will personally recommend to visit this if you want to spend relax and blissful time with your dear ones... !!! One can find nice street shopping area and restaurants in near by location.

  • Still a 3rd world country. But amazing beaches. Great hotels. Friendliest people. Great food. There will still be cows and dogs roaming the streets and the beaches. So not the cleanest of world cities, but great charm. Warm waters and warm people

  • We had absolutely no expectations from this beach. We visited this as we were near this place (Fort Auguda). But after visiting this beach, we thanked ourselves as we might have missed such a beautiful beach. It has great scenic feeling attached to it. Good thing is not much crowded so you get to spend your own personal time here. It has amazing view of the fort as well.
