The Sinquerim Beach is a village in North Goa that hosts a slightly lesser known beach called the Sinquerim beach. It isn’t as popular as the Baga and Calangute beaches but it definitely attracts a steady crowd all throughout the year. The beach has an interesting access route through the palm trees.

Like all Goa beaches there are several shacks and shanty’s along the shoreline for all your refreshment needs. The beach does sometimes get pretty crowded but it isn’t too difficult to find a place to play in the water making it a really good option. Hence, enjoying water sports like water-skiing, para-sailing, fishing, scuba diving and windsurfing are possible when you are in Sinquerim Beach.

As the Fort Aguada, which is a tourist magnet of sorts, is also on this beach. And being the venue for the famous Sunburn festival (the largest music festival in Asia), it makes the beach quite popular with the tourists.

  • Its a lovely beach. Less crowded as compared to its adjacent beaches. Small but serene and peaceful. You'll mostly find decent and foreigner's crowd here. I had been here at the time of sunset and found it just beautiful. Must visit in your goa trip.

  • 1. This beach is just bedside the Taj resort. 2. So, it's very well maintained. 3. Calm, clean and big beach. 4. It's a "must visit" beach in your Goa trip. 5. An eye-soothing beach. 6. One of the best beaches in north Goa. 7. Water is crystal clear here.

  • This is the perfect sun set beach. Quiet place. Peaceful beach. If you want to relax and actually listen to the water, it has the perfect setting. We visited here as the last place of our Goa trip. Just take a beach chair here and spend some time doing nothing. May be get a drink or two. Some restaurants are also there.

  • Such scenic view it had. The huge rocks on the sideways and the walls covered with green lush only added to its beauty. It was an amazing experience. People seeing this post, should know it’s a good place for water sports too such as jet ski, banana ride, parasailing... perhaps one photo will do 😬

  • Amazing beach very underrated. Picturesque views and very clean. It is right next to the fort . A Nice breeze blows across this beach and tall coconut trees sway in the wind. A nice beach for a romantic Getaway
