About Sinquerim Beach, Panaji

The Sinquerim Beach is a village in North Goa that hosts a slightly lesser known beach called the Sinquerim beach. It isn’t as popular as the Baga and Calangute beaches but it definitely attracts a steady crowd all throughout the year. The beach has an interesting access route through the palm trees.

Like all Goa beaches there are several shacks and shanty’s along the shoreline for all your refreshment needs. The beach does sometimes get pretty crowded but it isn’t too difficult to find a place to play in the water making it a really good option. Hence, enjoying water sports like water-skiing, para-sailing, fishing, scuba diving and windsurfing are possible when you are in Sinquerim Beach.

As the Fort Aguada, which is a tourist magnet of sorts, is also on this beach. And being the venue for the famous Sunburn festival (the largest music festival in Asia), it makes the beach quite popular with the tourists.

  • One of the more calmer spots in the area. The fort has a nice view over the ocean and the beach. The beach is pretty clean and has some good shacks. It isn't very crowded depending on the time of day. You can climb down from the fort to the beach and walk along it. The food at the shacks along the beach is pretty good. Nice spot for pictures

  • One of the best beaches in Goa, it's less crowded than most beaches of North Goa, the water is clear and waves are moderate with beach that's clean and mostly flat. All these make it a great place for swimming or just hanging out with friends. Crowd is mostly good with some very lavish hotels in the vicinity. Views are good with Fort surrounding the area. Food and drinks are a bit at higher but I did not experience any so no specific information.

  • One of the best beaches I have ever been... It was so clean contrary to other beaches in Goa... Best time to spend time here was sunset...So calm and relaxed atmosphere... Very well suited for a relaxed jogging along the sea shore...Feel the nature as you walk along the beach....

  • Wow. Loved this beach a lot. The water is more clearer than most beaches in Goa. You can see the fishes swim underwater. The tides are low too. One can also enjoy the speed boat rides here. This place has very good views

  • It's known as cleanest beach in Goa. Beautiful and wide spreaded. Best to hangout during the dusk hours. Rates for drinks and food are moderate and worth. Relax and enjoy your holidays here. What more is needed to chill out. Fantastic Trip. Will definitely visit again.
