St. Cajetan's Church - Review
Of all the churches of Old Goa, this one is by the reckoning of many the most exquisite. Built in 1661, the architecture is Corinthian, lime-plastered laterite blocks, with two towers for the belfry. Intricate floral designs decorate the walls. But the most striking sight inside would be the lovely and ornate wooden altar Our Lady of Divine Providence. There are six other altars too, with paintings depicting the life of the saint, and wood design in Baroque style. For some reason the church also contains the remains of a grand gateway from the palace of a muslim emperor, Adil Shah, who ruled Goa before the Portuguese; the door is the only remaining part of the palace. It is the only remaining domed church in Goa.

St. Cajetan's Church, Panaji Reviews
Went here on the Easter day. Preparation was going on. Overall it's good experience. And very calm place
If you walk down from the Viceroy's arch in Old Goa, this is the first church you would come across. This is undoubtedly the most beautiful, ornate and well preserved churches of Goa. The Church is well preserved and quite beautiful. Garden are well maintained Very few people visit this church. Dont be surprised by the deserted look. This Church was modeled on St. Peters Basilica in Rome and stands in start contrast to the rest of the Churches built in the Portuguese era.
Awesome old structure.. great place
An old, scenic church along the Anjuna-Assagao-Mapusa road. Some Bollywood films shot in the vicinity (including some which portray the region unflatteringly).
