Abaligeti Barlang is an ancient cave located in Abaliget, Hungary. Though it was first mentioned and explored in the seventeenth-century, it was used before by localities. During the eighteenth century, this cave started gaining popularity and soon became a popular tourist attraction. But, in the early-nineteenth century, this natural wonder was completely neglected. It took a couple of restorations to bring back its ancient charm. But, today, thousands of tourists along with locals visit this cave annually.
