Kattabomman Memorial Fort is of immense historical significance as it has memoirs of kattabomman who fought against the British rulers. The fort can be taken as an example of archaeological miracle. This was the place where the king had fought against the cruelty of Britishers and he was hanged in the Tamarine tree.
