Millomeris Waterfalls, Pano Platres Reviews - Write a Review

  • Great waterfall, lots of steps to walk down so beware if you're not very mobile. Definitely worth the trip though. Not a huge amount of room by the waterfall so can get busy when large parties arrive, if you're going in the water have your swimming clothes on ready as not much room to change. Water is crystal clear and very clean.

  • The highest waterfall in Cyprus, this is disputed by some but measurements prove the case. A great place for kids BUT THEY MUST BE SUPERVISED!! It's easy to get to, the access is well maintained, but not good for disabled people, due to the steps. When you're done, visit John's restaurant in Plano Platres. Have fun!!

  • Stunning place among the glorious mountains. The walk was tiring, but worth effort. BEWARE! Waterfall trial is much longer than Google Maps shows. If you're walking from the area of Faneromenis Church, prepare for about three kilometers walk upward and downward. Better have a good shoes and a bottle of water.

  • Beautiful waterfall. Not very big but picturesque. You can get there either by the lovely hiking trail from Pano Platres village (good shoes recommended) or by car from the opposite side. There is a parking by the waterfall, but bear in mind that the road is extremely narrow and full of sharp bends and you still have to go about 20 meters down the stone stairs to get to the base of the waterfall. Be sure to bring your swimwear as you can actually bath in the waterfall - it should be fun.
