The Steni Museum of Village Life is a tribute to those residents of the Steni village who lived days of struggle and challenge from the formation of the village to the end of the Second World War. The museum is pretty quaint and charming. The museum has a good collection of traditional clothing, toys, thread making tools, handicrafts and other relevant historic information.

  • It's really worth visiting. And the playground for the Kids next to it makes the trip even more fun when you have Kids.

  • Small and beautiful, well worth a visit and Steni itself is equally as nice.

  • Really good insight into Cypriot life in bygone years.

  • Very interesting place well done.

  • Only 15 minutes from Latching / Polis. A charming collection of items depicting village life in Cyprus from years gone by. Some items you will recognise instantly, others may take longer or you may need to refer to your loaned guide book for others (read the comment for the bee smoker)! Life was definitely simpler then, but much harder.
