Bateaux Parisiens River Cruise - Review
Journey up the glorious Seine and identify the sights of Paris from another point of view with the Paris Pass. From the water it is conceivable to see the numerous bridges and landmarks of Paris as you could never plan to from the land area. This hour long waterway voyage conveys stupendous and concealed perspectives of this wonderful city. An educational aspect and social analysis is accessible in English and ready at times to take the mouthpiece to illuminate Paris guests about current occasions, displays, and celebrations.
The fundamental Bateaux Parisiens dock is placed near the Eiffel Tower. Don't miss this glorious chance for any Paris guest to better grasp the geology of the city, to study more of the history, and to see this city from another view. The six pontoon restaurants of the Compagnie des Bateaux-Mouches voyage everywhere on Paris each day to uncover the heart of the City of Light. Bateaux Parisiens River Cruise, Paris Reviews
This boat tour takes you along the Seine River and shows you many incredible buildings and architectural designs in Paris. There is outdoor seating at the top of the boat for great picture taking, or you can sit inside where it is warm and comfortable. They do have listening devices so that you can learn about the various sites you are seeing. The only downside to a boat trip is that you can only see one side of the boat at a time. I would recommend going twice and sitting on a different side each time. The tour itself lasts about an hour, but it takes about 2 hours to do the trip because of the waiting in line and the deboarding process.
A Paris boat tour in the night on a nice cool day - best way to experience it. The trip lasts an hour and you have the option of listening to the recorded tour in multiple different languages. Be sure to bring your headphones because its best to listen on your phone (you can go to their website to access the recording). Or you can simply put on your own music and enjoy the calm cruise.
This was our second cruise with Bateaux Parisiens, and our first one was one of the best meals we've had. On both trips the cruise, boat, congeniality of the staff were delightful. Both cruises we took we chose a premium service in order to have a window seat as well as champagne and wine served with our meal - an expense that was worth it on the first cruise. We recommended the cruise to friends and family for eight years. However, we will now be recommending not going on this cruise. On our most recent cruise a filet ordered medium rare was served well done. When the waiter offered to swamp it out it was then served rare and wasn't served until the boat was docking. For the price of this experience I'd have expected the steak to be served as ordered and for it to be corrected if it wasn't. I'd also have liked an email the day of with the exact dock number, as the staff who greeted us at the dock directed us to the wrong ship. To say our second cruise all was disappointing would be an understatement.
The experience on the boat was nice, good views (if your seated upstairs outside) there is an option to use an audio guide on your phone by connecting to their wifi as there is no one doing the commentary via microphone. However I found it difficult to stay connected to the app, especially when having a different language selected other than English or French. This boat ride is great for anyone just wanting to take in the views and doesn't quite care too much about commentary / fun facts about the landmarks. I personally prefer to have a bit of information on the side while I'm taking in the views, so hence 4 stars instead of 5.
You will enjoy a comfortable cruise and dinner along the river Seine, passing by many popular tourist attraction sites. Live music is included, and a choice of seating arrangements on the boat. There will be many opportunities for photo taking on both sides of the river, and an observation deck for that purpose. You will get an unobstructed view of the Eiffel tower at night during the dinner cruise. In regards to the dinner, this is not your typical tourist trap meals. Sure, they don't serve expensive wines unless you purposely select them, nor truffles, but the dinner was very well prepared and the wait staff are extremely friendly and helpful, though they are very busy. They could use some extra help. That cheese puff toast is very yummy, every so lightly crisp, and cheesy.
