Bouillon Racine, Paris Reviews
The sea bass was the best food ever I have had in Europe. Well preserved fish meat with rice and cheese were a nice combination. Though snails were less than my expectation. Sea snails are better than this I think. Also the server did not give me tongs which made me disappointed on services but still considering this is France, in general the services were pretty much fine.
Ordered their fixed lunch set which was affordable and of excellent quality. I had a medium rare rump steak cooked to good doneness, avocado and spinach soup (cold) which was fragrant and fresh - first time I tasted something like that, and escargots which were the best I've had. The service was warm and welcome - our waiter recommended a full bodied red wine which paired well with my steak.
What a fabulous restaurant. The food was superb and the ambience takes you back in time to a grander era. The Maitre D was extremely welcoming and polite, the rest of the staff were extremely professional, efficient and pleasant!
Excellent place. Beautiful Art Nouveau decor, nice food, lovely attentive service. A great place.
Nice pre dinner drinks. We did not eat here but I wish we had.
