College des Bernardins is a place that has served different purposes throughout history. It was originally established as the Cistercian college of the historic University of Paris in 1248. From being the residence for the Cistercian monks to students who were part of the college, this place was used until the French Revolution. Today, it is home to the Académie Catholique de France and has been converted into a research center and event venue. You can see different film screenings, contemporary art exhibits here, along with attending concerts and debates.
