After experiencing the Dali Museum in Figueres this was a disappointment. It only contains a small amount of his work and displayed in such poor taste, it's an art gallery not a museum. I feel Dali rolling in his grave at the sight of this place. If you haven't had a chance to see his work before it's worth a visit but understand this is a small taste of what this remarkable artist has created.
Small Musuem but has loads of works by Dalí. So if you're a fan of Dalí definitely go. You can also purchase his art for anywhere between 1000€ to 10000€ If you fancy it.
a must see in the montmatre area. we really didn't expected much in return we had a little museum with a lot of history and art pieces from the master. the museum end with a gallery of signed reproductions which, while not cheap, I will surely visit one day to get a piece of art. the museum also have lockers for bags (you will need 1 euro for it, and it will be returned at the end of the visit). totally recommend if you love Dalí.
It was a small place but I really enjoyed it. It gave a fantastic overview of Dalí with sketches, paintings, sculptures, furniture, photographs and some documentary video. Friendly helpful staff. Of course the location is great if you want the artsy tourist experience. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Non flash photography was allowed. There is also a gallery with work for sale.
This museum truly cemented Dali as one of my favorite artists. My SO and I spent over two hours here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more intimate and low-key art experience.
