Holybelly 5, Paris Reviews

  • Went at almost 10 today (Friday) and there was a queue. But once the line moved, it moved fast. Sweet pancake was above average, while the London Fog (earl grey milk tea) was a bit sweet. Overall it would have been a much experience if the person who welcomed me had not teased me for speaking French.. I mean that's how I adapted to living in France. And apparently you cannot order once you're ready.

  • A "must go" for breakfast! So nice and tasty and varied. The only "problem" is that you have to queue to get a table but when we went, we didn't wait too long (or it felt that way) The place is huge inside. The staff is very nice and friendly and the portions are good. Definitely worthy!

  • Great brunch/breakfast spot. Great atmosphere. It’s really popular so there’s a little bit of a wait time. The servers are really nice and speak English! The food was delicious, definitely worth the price. I could not finish my plate! They also have a good selection of coffee.

  • Great place for a late breakfast. The decoration is something like art deco + industrial. The atmosphere is pleasant and cheerful. They do not accept reservations, and the queues are usually about 30 minutes, but it's worth it! Friendly and kind staff. The menu is small but creative, with vegetarian and vegan options. The coffee is delicious. The pancakes and hash browns are brutal.

  • A hugely popular breakfast joint...but not sure why. (And the locals don't know either??) I will be short and sweet. The food is good and the coffee is flavoursome. The hash browns (not hash browns more potato tots) are very tasty, as is the sausage. Bacon is good, with a delightful sweet flavour. Eggs are also great, mine were poached beautifully with a good run, whilst my partner's were a creamy scramble. All sounds great so far...... Negative...it took bloody ages. Waiting for a table to become free is a choice, but the coffee took 20min to arrive and the food didn't arrive until we had been there over 40min! That's super slow for a breakfast joint. I had fully consumed all beverages by this point. Last negative cost. I love breakfast, huge fan. But spending nearly €50 that's pricey, I don't care how pretentious. Overall, it's fun sure, but there are three other breakfast places around the corner all look great. Your call.
