La Belle Epoque, Paris Reviews - Write a Review
Waiters unworthy of working a hot dog stand, much less a restaurant. It's a revolutionary idea not ridiculing customers to their faces, and one that is unlikely to catch on before La Belle Époque disappears with its namesake.
Unprofessional service : the host was disrespectful and aggressive. We reserved a table and arrived on time. The host disregarded us and served a group of his friends before us. When he noted our surprise, he stated that this is the way he does business and if we don't like it we better leave the place. We left.
I would give the food two stars because you don't get what you paid for, this is just a very typical restaurant in Paris(pricy menu + mediocre food), usually I try to avoid this kind of restaurant but my friend chose the place, she also paid the bill, what happened then surprised me, the waitress said she doesn't have enough change for my friend, somehow she decided to keep 15 euros as her tips. My friend wouldn't care less about her money, but I don't like greedy waitress, her voracity is the reason why you are seeing this comment🤗And for tourists: if you want to have good food in Paris, you either go to very expensive or cheap restaurants, good food don't exist in between, for example in La Belle Époque.
Cool brasserie style but food is quite average
Good food and great atmosphere. Busy from about 9 pm. A little pricey and the service is indifferent.
