A monumental fountain resembling a dragon, La Danse de la Fontaine Emergente is a unique attraction to stop by when in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. Designed by the Chinese-French conceptual artist and sculptor Chen Zhen, the fountain is made of plastic, glass and stainless steel. The dragon with transparent skin displays water flowing from under the skin. While the sculptor died before the completion of the fountain, the same was finished by his wife named Xu Min. A contemporary art installation, La Danse de la Fontaine Emergente makes for a quick stop when in the surroundings.
