At The Delicate Rose of Sables, you’re greeted with one word: Welcome! That’s all the English that Mama Zouzou, your grandmotherly waitress, knows. Papa Christian, your grandfatherly chef, completes the staff list of this incredibly cute bistro. They are kind, funny, and warm and will make you feel as if you were their favorite nephews and nieces. They are going to spoil you rotten. You’ll be provided with mulled wine as soon as you enter. Order your food, and be stunned by the ridiculously large servings. As you’re while the time away, you’ll be pressed with impromptu appetizers, sides, gifts, souvenirs and laughs. You’ll notice books here and there: gift’s donated by enchanted authors. We shan’t spoil the surprises this loving couple will land you with. As you leave you’ll threaten them, on the pain of breaking your heart, to never, ever close shop!

We had such a great time with mama :) The food was good but the service and experience was incomparable to any other. I have not felt so home in a foreign country in such a long time - It was such a welcoming experience. If in paris - I highly recommend going. If the line allows you to of course. :)
Best restaurant ever!!! Very local French, must try! Very friendly and welcomed. Even give us some Paris souvenirs and free drinks. Cute cute grandpa and grandma.
Warmed our hearts on a cold day! We were blown away by the enthusiasm and warmness of the lovely lady that runs the restaurant. She is crazy in the best way that you can imagine 😁😁
Oh my god y’all I just met my new grandma. Seriously, this is like a once in a lifetime completely unique experience where the proprietress will cure you of any homesickness and make you feel like you’re in a tiny French farm village kitchen all at once. The food is great but the hospitality is literally outrageous.
Coucou les enfants! If you wish to dine at La Petite Rose Des Sables I'm afraid to say there is some urgence for you. Madame Zouzou and her husband (Chef) will be closing the restaurant sometime in 2018 when she turns 65, her forecasted age of retirement. She cannot wait for the phones to stop ringing and for "Monsieur Google" to leave her alone. She has many things to do once she retires including plans to travel to Philadelphia to visit her son Sebastián, as well as New York and North Carolina. This place is one of a kind. Total restaurant seating capacity is around 8 ppl. You may want to think about making a reservation, but honestly your table may be given away if she prefers other people. Best idea is to show up around 7:45pm and hope they have space for you. She has taken more security precautions since the Charlie Hebdo attacks last year, so even though the front door is locked they are probably open so long as the Metro hasn't closed. Quel experience! You must meet Madame Zouzou if you are in Paris.
