  • A trip to Paris is not complete until you go to this historic and underground jazz club. Grab your drink at the bar upstairs after you enter, and then head down into the caverns for jazz. Watch the Parisiens dance the night away and who knows, maybe you will be brave enough to jump in yourself! Really -- don’t miss this.

  • This place is as funky as they come. I got myself a Cognac served properly, then headed down stairs to a packed house all having a awesome time. A Paris must see.

  • This place is one of the best underground jazz venues in the whole city. It’s a quirky place that focuses mainly on 1920s jazz, so feel free to dress up in your finest flapper attire if you wish. This musical den, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city outside, cultivates a cosy atmosphere where dancing is almost certainly on the cards. All of the post-war jazz greats have performed at Caveau de la Huchette and this legacy continues with the contemporary line-up. A sombre fact is that in the 1500s, the stone arch under which you’ll be dancing used to be an execution chamber. It can sometimes be a bit touristy, but it's totally worth it.

  • Wonderful atmosphere! Its a fascinating experience, whenever you go. But Sunday nights are Swing nights, and the local dancers come in. All the staff seem ace, and the band is awesome!

  • English speaking bartender Great live jazz band Friendly audience I was visiting here with a sprained ankle and the stairs definitely not easy for me. If you have limited mobility, it might be challenging for you to get there.
