The covered portion of the market was so ordinary but the outside stalls were just amazing! You could find fresh (or even organic) produces from around the globe. Foodie could easily spend two-hours strolling around those stalls. Just don’t buy stuffs at first sight, do some price comparison first so to avoid any buyer remorse!
NO ready to eat food; it's mostly vegetables and trinkets, with meats and cheeses sold inside. Not good if you were looking for something to eat, but pleasant to quickly walk around if you're already in the area. Not worth coming specifically for this market unless you want flea market trinkets or groceries.. So if you're a tourist or foodie without a kitchen, it's only worth it if you're just passing by.
favorite market in Paris, fantastic selection at great prices. You do need to be selective though as some of the market vendors are better than others. If you’re in the area it’s worth sitting at the nearby wine bar (Baron Rouge) for a nice selection of wines by the glass
One of the best in Paris. Indoor section good for cheese, meats, craft beers. Outdoors great for fruits and vegetables. Come early in day for outdoor stuff people. I.e, the one star review person probably didn’t come in the morning. Good middle eastern food store and excellent coffee at cafe aouba too.
Fruits, vegs and cheese! Some flowers as well. Great prices compared to supermarket prices. Take cash as many of them don't accept credit or debit card payments. It's part of the everyday life of Paris if you want to get to know them a little better. Lovely environment.
