Right in front of the church. You can get hot wine and hot chocolate here how nice in a cold night like this.
Calm & quiet church, hidden in plain sight among the crowds visiting the surrounding attractions. Worth the visit on its own merits, but also a nice place to stop in for some calm.
Beautiful inside and outside worth going to see
The Church of Saint Peter of Montmartre is one of the oldest surviving churches in Paris but the lesser known of the two main churches in Montmartre, the other being the more famous 19th-century Sacré-Cœur Basilica. Visiting Paris last Aug 2017. Instagram @profnasr
The oldest cathedral on Montmartre - its building goes back to the 12 century. Very calm and cosy, with nice atmosphere. Long time ago there was an abbey, transformed into the cathedral. Nearby there is a cemetery, where sculptor Pigalle was buried.
