A footbridge initially called passerelle Solférino after the French victory in the Battle of Solferino of 1859, Passerelle Leopold-Sedar-Senghor is a beautiful spot to spend some recreational time with friends and family. The current bridge is named after the Senegalese poet, Léopold Sédar Senghor after having undergone restoration while the original bridge had to be demolished because of damage. Famous as the Bridge of Love because of various colorful locks attached to it, the bridge is worth a walk for stunning views.
