Pont de Tolbiac is one of the many bridges spanning across the River Seine. It was built in the late 1870s to connect the 12th and the 13th arrondissement. It is a place of historic importance as it was hit by the British plane in 1943 during the Second World War. You can see the plaque on the bridge today that contains the names of those who lost their lives during the plane crash. Consider stopping by the bridge when you are in Paris to get a glimpse of the tragic past of the city.
