Paris is popularly known as the city of fashion. So, when you are in this beautiful city, you cannot miss the opportunity of shopping. And when it comes to retail therapy, Printemps is the ideal place to get your fill of international fashion. This department store first opened its door in 1865. During those days, the concept of ‘one-stop shopping department’ was a new thing, especially for middle class people. With the opening of this store, Paris was able to enjoy shopping in a ‘departmental store concept’.

As you step inside, its Art Nouveau styled architecture is definitely going to grab your attention. People visit this shopping store not always for buying, but sometimes to admire its interior décor as well.

  • Best desserts I had in Paris were from the 8th floor.

  • Shopping centre in the heart of Paris. Extravagant design inside an old building. Queue in some stores could be frustating. People burn their money here for the famous brand of colthes, parfumes, bags, watches, and shoes. Great enough for window shopping too.

  • Very much under construction so it was slightly harder to find what I was looking for this time around. It has a fantastic fragrance floor which has many of the big perfume houses highlighted and I always go here when I'm searching for something new and exciting. They've installed a beautiful new art installation wall alongside the escalators which is well done. Many lovely things but I think these renos are much needed and likely to make the store so much better

  • Why lose your time at the Galery Lafayette, if you can have a much better service and considerably faster! Don't worry at the level of quality of products you will hardly find a difference! Also price wise, sometime the prices might even be more affordable! also consider there is a Laduree in the building!

  • A very big shopping mall. There many famous shops like Hermes, LV, Dior, Chanels, etc.
