What a surprising new location for this grand restaurant! The facility allows Guy Savoy's designers to have some fun. All the rooms are a dark gray, allowing the art on the table and off to really shine. The meal was creative & delicious, but you can get delicious in many parts of Paris. What sets Savoy off is how pampered & welcome he makes you feel! From a hello as we walked in, through a mini-tour of the rooms to the spectacular hand designed plates at the places, as well as the Baton Mouche floating along the Seine outside the windows, he sets up a great experience to come. What I think really makes him stand out are all the little treasures! More than just amuse bouche, they are inspired, bite size tantalizers, that are a treat for the mouth! And they keep showing up throughout! A delightful lunch!
We have eaten at many outstanding restaurants over the years and this is the best restaurant we have eaten out in the world. We have eaten at three-star Michelin restaurants around the world and this is by far the best experience ever. My greatest frustration at some exceptional restaurants is that you can walk away hungry. That was not the case here and they often left a sidecar of the most delicious sauces and they were pleased to offer you seconds of courses if there were courses that you thoroughly enjoyed. The service was prompt, unpretentious and impeccable. I can’t say enough outstanding thanks about our experience.
The best restaurant in the world from the food service environment. Is my fav place in the world for dinner. Guy savoy is the master of food
Wow. What a place. My Glass and Chair leg soup was absolutely amazing (it had quite the tang which was no doubt due to the splinters) and I enjoyed many cups of Tesco's own brand 'Black drinking liquid'. SUPER DUPER SCRUMMY! My main issue was the fact that when I ordered the 'Bol à pain' I didn't receive spag bol and it didn't hurt.
Last night we dined here for dinner, which was even more elevated than the lunch we had here last year! Guy Savoy’s creations are thoughtful AND playful. Furthermore, the servers were too. We were seven Americans who lacked refinement in terms of French standards. However, the staff was kind and humored us through fourteen or so small courses of the MOST divine food!!! The five hour dinner was luxurious and fun. We had a private room and were doted upon for every need. Wine pairings were well recommended and head server helped our group select courses that suited us well. The cheese cart blew us away until the dessert cart arrived with an even more impressive and bountiful selection. This was definitely the most inventive menu many of us have experienced. It was extremely pricey but entirely worth it for a splurge for my father-in-law’s 70th Birthday. We would highly recommend the asparagus, lobster, aged beef, and artichoke truffle soup. It’s unfair to summarize such a special meal in one paragraph. All seven of us would HIGHLY recommend a dinner at Restaurant Guy Savoy!
