About Rodin Museum, Paris

The Musee Rodin in Paris, France, is a famous art gallery that was opened in 1919. It was committed to the works of the French artist Auguste Rodin. It also has two centre destinations, at the Hotel Biron and encompassing grounds in focal Paris, and simply outside Paris at Rodin's old home, the Villa des Brillants at Meudon or the Hauts-de-Seine.

The gathering includes 6,600 figures, 8,000 drawings, 8,000 old photos and 7,000 objets of grand art. Moreover, the display center accommodates a total of almost 700,000 guests every twelve-months. The Musee Rodin holds the greater part of Rodin's critical manifestations, incorporating The Thinker, The Kiss and The Gates of Hell. A considerable lot of his models are shown in the gallery's noteworthy arrangement. The storehouse is a standout amongst the most open storehouses in Paris. It is spotted close to a Metro stop, Varenne, in a largely central neighborhood and the extra aura is extremely sensible.

  • Went there with about 10 minutes left before closing just wanting to go see the Thinker statue. They let us in for only two euro just to see the statue and hit up the gift shop. Very nice and accommodating. Judging by what I saw, it seems like the right kind of museum for those who like sculptures - less historical stuff like the Egypt stuff at the Louvre, but great art none the less. Next time in Paris, I'll spend more time going through.

  • The garden and grounds are small but thats' what makes it so pleasing. Not a big fan of his sculptors. but they are displayed in the garden and 'hotel' that is restored where he lived. An interesting man if you read his Bio. Enjoy

  • Best place to see Rodin's work including some first models of famous works. Also perfect for a stop if you're walking like crazy, the gardens are incredible. You can also have a break at the café right by the gardens.

  • A must-see in Paris. Spectacular indoor and outdoor exhibits - a personal favorite is the garden behind the permanent exhibit building. Be sure to take your picture with the Thinker, and then walk all the way across the garden to the Gates of Hell. EU nationals age 18-25 get in for free!

  • I don't love sculptures, but it's hard not to appreciate what an incredible sculptor Rodin was. So many extraordinary works at this museum with a huge garden as well. We'll worth the time.
