* The facts given above are based on traveler data on TripHobo and might vary from the actual figures
  • Great views, open early and late (go for dawn or evening!), mammoth architecture, lively local church in full daily use. With a history and presence of hope. Avoid street artist scams! Enjoy music inside and out.

  • I loved this basilica, the location and the view around it is just amazing. the basilica of the sacred heart of Paris is a roman catholic church dedicated to the sacred heart of Jesus. A popular landmark and the second most visited monument in Paris, the basilica is located at the summit of the Montmartre the highest point in the city. The entrance is free as it is a place of worshipping so people should be respectful enough for not interrupt or annoy people there who are praying and having a moment of contemplation.

  • Another amazing building in Paris. This church is located on a hill and gives great views of the city. From wakable distances to bus and metro stations. Once there you can either walk the stairs or take a cable car. The entrance is free and the interior awe-inspiring. No photos are allowed. Recommended.

  • One of my favorite spots in Paris. The view in front for the basilica is stunning. If you have time, try to go o top of the tower and you will be rewarded with an even better 360 view all over Paris. You can even see the Eiffel tower.

  • Great views of the city. If you walk up the walk is scenic but challenging. There are a lot of steps if you don’t take the lift. The steps outside the basilica are busy with street entertainers and large groups waiting. The inside is beautiful.
