Sacre Coeur Cathedral, Paris Reviews
Beautiful basilica located on top of a hill. The views from the top of hill are spectacular. The basilica has beautiful mosaics over the main altar as well as over some of the side altars. The acoustics are amazing. Lovely stained glass windows all around the building. The lines for entering are very long but move along very quickly so the wait is only about 10 minutes until you are inside. There is a funicular to the top of the hill if you don't want to walk up the steps.
One of my favorite touristy sites. I got the most souvenirs from here. Great handmade items. And the nuns sang at the mass and I couldn't resist staying. So uplifting. I haven't seen nuns many places.
Lovely place to visit. Lots of history. You can take photographs inside, but remember it is a holy place of worship. Worth the walk up the many steps for the views across Paris. The only annoying part of this whole area are the street sellers selling pure tat. The obstruct steps, pathways and do get annoying. Other than that its a lovely place to visit.
One of the most iconic places in the world. A must visit while your in Paris! The architecture is nothing but amazing! The art work is beautiful. Truly a place that will always remember. Make sure to take lots of pictures to save the memory 😊😍
Stubby basilica, you see so many of this kind of thing when travelling around Europe, it’s easy to get jaded and to be honest this place isn’t anything special inside. The thing that made this place stand out was going up to the dome and looking out over Paris. The Basilica itself is located on top of a hill so it’s view of the relatively flat Paris is fantastic. Also, when you’re up high elsewhere in Paris you can spot this place quite easily so it becomes a fun landmark to have experienced. You (of course) have to pay to go up. It cost us €6 each as adults but I have to say, it was worth it.
