Popular for its two outstanding spires, Sainte-Clotilde was designed by the German architect F. C. Gau and French architect Théodore Ballu between 1846 and 1857. An excellent example of the neo-Gothic style of architecture, the church’s interior is adorned by stained glass windows, paintings, and sculptures. Statues that represent Merovingian saints add to the beauty of the church’s porch. With a popularly admired organ and a pleasant garden in the front, this iconic church is worth a visit.
