Also known as ‘Tilted House’, the Sinking House is located in Montmartre, Paris, right next to the Sacré-Cœur. Although the pictures of the Sinking House may look quite fascinating, it is actually an optical illusion. The interesting photos that make it seem as if the house is sinking are clicked by holding the camera at a particular angle. Climbing the steps of the Sacré-Cœur, you will see a grassy bank to your right. The house, which is washed in orange and white, is behind the bank. Start climbing the hill and once you notice the house, just tilt your camera at an angle of 45 degrees and you will have a very interesting photo of the ‘Sinking House’ in Paris.
