  • Between the stunning architecture of the tomb and the vast war museum I don’t see how any one can’t enjoy this place. I only had about an hour and a half here. 3 hours would have been better to see it all. It’s a big place with out many bathrooms. Use it before you go all the way in

  • As a huge history fan Napoleon’s tomb is a must at least once while in Paris. Impressive and and awe inspiring with beautiful art and architecture throughout. While Napoleon’s tomb is the center of this impressive building there is more to see then just that with tombs of family and others places throughout. If you are not a history nerd and just curious, you can quench that thirst with a 10 minute walk around. On your way out, the cafe in the Army Museum is right inside the doors and just a few minutes away. On a side note. Yes everything is in French and honestly that is how it should be. A simple translator on your smart phone will do the trick.

  • A beautiful architectural setting. Brief history is offered on the movement of Napoleon's remains from St. Helana to Paris after his death by his formal rivals. Two levels are offered and you can go down by the tomb. Hard to find stairs so don’t miss this option.

  • The volume, wealth and detail of history here is unprecedented. We thought we would spend 2 hours here and we ended up spending four and probably saw it about 10% of their collection. It was our favorite historical site in Paris.

  • Went to go see the Little Man with the Big Plan (LMBP). - he was really little! Check out the size of his coat, he’s like a size 4! - he had many Big Plans and the results have been carved out in stone around his tomb - its a beautiful place. For the museum I’d do the Napoleon era and perhaps WWs I&II
