High West Distillery & Saloon Reviews & Ratings

  • Four star food. Four star cocktails. Two star service...every time. Totally worth it, but just wish the servers would pay attention and see empty whiskey glasses more than once an hour.

  • We were very excited to eat here. Ordered 2 drinks with dinner. Good drinks. One before the meal and one ordered to have with the meal. The second one came out late, way after we ate and were ready to pay. The wings were basic franks red hot wings dressed up with sesame seeds. Best food we had were the fries.

  • We ate before we did the whiskey tasting and tour of how the process is all done. The burger was pretty good and my wife enjoyed a watermelon berry salad. We enjoyed our tour (Alissa I think) was very knowledgeable and informative. She does talk a bit fast but answers all questions. She was also our server for the tasting and did great with describing the different whiskeys the make. You can also buy your favorite on location.

  • It’s still good but not great as before. From a past park city person, moved to midway/heber valley, usually disappointed when new chef comes in (and it’s still same place/name) and has to mess with what the place is known for...no more moist bison burger (doubt any duck pate in there, no blue cheese, Mac & cheese different, deviled eggs different, etc.). All is very good, but not what I associate in past go to place to take visitors. Service Has always been bit slow but still worth it. As long as they don’t get rid of/change dead mans boot drink, I’ll be back! Don’t me turned off by my review, it’s a great place! I just miss original menu/food.

  • We stopped here while in park city and it was a great decision. We started out with lunch and the food was delicious. The atmosphere of the place was very welcoming, staff was friendly and the decor was nice. We took the whiskey tour and it was an amazing experience. Our tour around the place and learning the history of the building was fun. We ended the tour with a tasting in a private room. We enjoyed it that we are going to schedule a tour of the main Distillery next.
