  • A 5 minutes drive from 90/94 yet it's like a world away. Sweet hidden pocket of nature that encircles a lake where you can learn about nature and get your walk on. Great for young families as there is a wonderful playground with swing set.

  • It's a truly magical place, especially the metamorphosis it continually undergoes. Gorgeous landscapes whichever way you look, birds abound (including those that will protect their nest by whizzing by your head). Come here alone and take a relaxed, purposefully slow walk on the woodchip path. Make sure to stop and smell the flowers - literally.

  • Great place for a quick walk in the woods. They have great programs (their summer camp is awesome) and wonderful staff

  • Hidden gem list off bike path to Skokie Illinois. Very clean bathrooms, very friendly sincere staff, very impressive nature center. A definite stop for me and my hubby when biking on the path.

  • It's always extremely peaceful here and the nature is to live for!
