Firestone Walker Brewing Company Reviews & Ratings
(5/5) Service: sat at the bar and was treated like a king. Great staff and super friendly. (5/5) Beer: They have something for everyone and every beer I had was top notch. I ordered a Generation 1 and a Rosalie and was very happy with both. (3/5) Cost: Food and Beer were a little pricey for what it is at a brewery but I've bee to several and that seems to be a bit of a norm (2/5) Food: This was my second time ordering the fish and chips here and I think I'm being generous. The most notable feature was the house made tartar sauce. Meal was too small and I ended up having to order an an appetizer finish things off. I should note that I'm a pretty skinny guy too.
Wide variety of beers and good food. It felt as if we were being rushed though. After receiving our food and one beer, our check arrived. I would have liked an opportunity for a couple more beers but evidently they wanted to make room for more customers. I won't come back on a Sunday for lunch anymore but maybe it would be better during the week sometime when it's less crowded. The food was a little pricey for such a rushed experience.
Great brewery with a friendly staff that's very accommodating. Food was killer, plenty of room and chill vibes. Next time I'm on the 101 I will definitely be stopping by to grab another pulled pork sandwich and an ice cold pint of brew.
Not sure what I ordered wrong but, have had FW brews in other venues that had better taste. Finally settled. My lovely spouse suggested we try the baked cauliflower with Frank's hot sauce. Now, I don't care for cauliflower so I was reticent but finally agreed to give it a try. It was awesome and filled us, so were glad we hadn't ordered dinner. Will return for that.
The beer here is good as always. They keep a good mix of beers flowing from their taps. However, the service and the food are mediocre for the price point especially when you want to sit outside on the patio with your four legged friend, don’t expect to see a waitress or get any refills without going inside to the bar.
