The Sweet Restaurant Reviews & Ratings

  • Food was priced well by Patong standards. International and Thai cuisine. Asked for it spicy and they brought out a cup of sliced peppers so I could add how much I wanted.

  • Awful, absolutely awful. The curry sauce was bareable but it was crudely and conservatively poured over some poached chicken which was god knows how many days old. The dried shrimp in the papaya salad stank like the sewers (not a fishy smell). The rice was like a brick of dried rubber. People mention cheap prices, LOL this is Phuket standard for shoddy restaurants like this that serve 400 items on their menus. There are many more places that serve far better food that is actually fresh and cheaper. ‘Australian owned’ it says, certainly not to the Australian standard I know. Crikey Rice wasn’t fresh, curry sauce was good, food isn’t ‘cheap’ pretty standard for these restaurants in Phuket. Yeah it might be cheap compared to London or Sydney but not for Phuket Shrimp in papaya salad is off Tomato is rotten

  • Rice wasn’t fresh, papaya salad didn’t taste freshly prepared and the shrimp in the salad was off. When I told them they said it was supposed to be like that, despite me saying that I’ve had dried shrimp many times. Owner was hovering but didn’t seemed too bothered either. Coconut milkshake was really nice but wouldn’t recommend the food.

  • Reasonable price. Staff friendly. Thai food very delicious

  • Great non nonsense restaurant owned by an Ozzie icon that ensures quality of food and sensible pricing. Large range of local and international dishes.
