Bus Terminal Pattaya -bangkok, Pattaya Reviews - Write a Review
The buses to Ekkamai run every 30 minutes. The price is currently 108 Baht. The first bus is leaving 04.30 a.m. Be there well ahead to catch the early bus. A line will form from 04.00 o'clock onwards. University students and worker tend to take the first bus. On route to Ekkamai the bus will stop 3 times. First stop is Home Pro Bang Na. It's 25 kilometers outside of Bangkok and pretty close to the airport. By taxi it's roughly a 30 minutes ride. Second stop is at the BTS station Udom Suk. If there is traffic on Sukhumvit Rd. it's a good way to bear the traffic yam. Third stop is at On Nut. And the final one at Ekkamai. Depending on traffic it takes about 2 hours. The busses always leave from bay 1. Getting to Morchit costs 117 Baht. The bus takes Highway 7 and doesn't stop on the way. Estimate an 2 hours ride. The bus is leaving more infrequent. Sometimes every 30 minutes and at times every hour. The busses are leaving from bay no. 2. There is another bus terminal in Bangkok. Southern bus terminal is far out of the city in Taling Chang. If you know the way this one would be the closest to Khao Sarn Rd. It takes anything between 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours to get there. On request the bus driver can stop near Sathorn Road. Busses are leaving from bay 3. A new service was just recently added. Some of the busses going to the Southern Bus Terminal are continuing to Hua Hin. Note: You can not buy any of the tickets ahead of time. Don't go there and try. Others done it before you and failed. Same day purchase only. Secondly the seat numbers are on the back of the seat and not facing you. E.g.: If you have seat no. 16 you will see 12 written in front of you. This leaded to many confusions already. The last bus will leave Pattaya at 11:00 p.m. Be there again well ahead. The last and the first busses are always ever fully booked. 🚌 Last Visit | December 2017
This bus station is the worst in the world. You have to wait a long time to get on the bus and you can not buy a ticket in advance. The bus drivers are crazy and they stop everywhere. To get to Bangkok you need minimum 4 hours. If you are with a group better share a taxi. See my pictures - so crowded and the bus stops for filling gas in the middle of nowhere. Never again. ONLY STUPID CHINESE DRIVE WITH THIS BUS
Only busses between pattaya and Bangkok, but there's a nice waiting area with a small shop.
One of the cheapest and comfortable way to travel from Pattaya to Bangkok [108 baht]. This bus terminal has a small mart, cafe as well as a small restaurant where you can get Thai food.
cheap, efficient and comfotable traffic from pattaya to bangkok BTS stations which connected you to everywhere in Bangkk.
