Nong Nooch Botanical Gardens - Review
The Nong Nooch Botanical garden is a beautiful park in Pattaya. The gardens have a huge variety of exhibits and beautiful exotic flowers from all over the world that attract an array of insect and birdlife as well. The famous 'Thai Cultural and Elephant' shows are perhaps the star attraction of this place. You can catch one while you are here and also buy souvenirs but the real thing of beauty is the wonderful garden around it.
A stroll down the park will bring you face to face with several butterflies and birds flitting amongst the pretty flowers and plants. The gardens have been elaborately landscaped and there are a lot of different and unique sections. There is a European styled garden with pretty sculptures that adorn it. There is a vibrant umbrella garden. The French garden and butterfly gardens are also very captivating. Do not forget to check out the orchids which Thailand is famous for. Within the garden, you will find a floating lake with beautiful landscaped plants. There is also a very interesting section which houses terracotta pots that have been used to make a variety of plant shapes. The structures and pathways are very picturesque and you are sure to enjoy a walk here with a loved one. Being pristinely manicured, the gardens are an awesome photo spot.

Nong Nooch Botanical Gardens, Pattaya Reviews
the place was so big with various theme. there are some part still under construction yet we are already amaze with the garden. the garden was so beautiful, neat and clean although they have a lot of visitor. you can also see the park from the bridge that is already connected to all part of the garden. I suggested you visit this garden in the evening so you will enjoy the park with the breeze. but i think they need to put on more directions sign in english since there are some people (tourist) lost their way in the garden (including us).
Definitely worth a visit. A smorgasbord of interesting and beautiful things to look at. Never boring, and at times bordering on surreal, as you find yourself in a French-style hedge maze garden, in front of Buddhist temple, surrounded by dinosaurs, with the beautiful hills of Chonburi in the background. We were a bit worried at first to see the elephants chained in the feeding area, but after observing them, treatment of the elephants seemed extremely humane, and they appeared to enjoy interacting with tourists and handlers alike.
I would avoid this place completely. 500 !baht to only see the garden portion? While Thai nationals pay 150 baht. I hope other people will see this and avoid this total rip off. There is absolutely no way I would pay such an outrageous entrance fee to witness more animal cruelty. The soulless elephants at the Sanctuary of Truth will stay with me in my memories long enough. My girlfriend and I immediately left after being quoted 1000 baht at the ticket counter.
Probably a good place to take kids who would enjoy the Dinosaurs. For anyone else I would probably avoid as the place was overwhelmed by animal statues. Was expecting more natural gardens. Also hate to see Elephants used to perform or give rides. 500 baht to get in.
Nong Nooch is amazing garden. Very neat and organized.it is suitable for family gathering. Thai culture show is perfect and also elephant show. It has a restaurant, i think halal food is available for muslim. Sightseeing bus is also available.
