Underwater World Pattaya - Review

UnderWaterWorld Pattaya is a great place for those travelling with their families to Pattaya. The Aquarium is built in the shape of tunnels, so you are essentially looking up and around at the amazing marine life that the place has on display.

As you walk down the blue felt corridor, suddenly Manta rays swim right above you, sea-horses bob on the side while other fish scuttle around. This amazing experience of almost being underwater is what gives the theme park its uniqueness. They also have a touch pool where you can interact with some of the sea-faring creatures. There is a separate coral reef zone with colourful tropical fish as well as an ocean zone where you can see huge sharks and rays from the depths of the ocean. Not to be missed are the jellyfish. Seeing them glowing in the dark is an amazing experience. Be sure to visit this with kids to help them understand the world of the ocean.

  • Amazing experience..Visited any underwater aquarium for the first time and was really worth. The variety of species is too good...You could see the sharks swimming above your head and it's amazing. It contains a complete separate section for jelly fish which described it's full life cycle which is simply wow. The feeding time for the creatures is the show time where they do.lot of playful activities. You could get many shell made ornaments and other decorative at a fixed price. Outside the park there is one sovineer shop which has a pretty good variety as well. Overall a must go for anyone there.

  • It's near Floating Market, Pattaya. An aquarium...with quite reasonable collection of fish and other lives living in water. This place is worth visiting with family and friends. It takes around 2 hours to 3 hours to take a glance of all what is kept inside. A good experience walking beneath the aquatic environment presented with the glass tanks. Very informative and useful messages of water animals are given in this aquarium. Overall comment...Good visit...😊

  • It's an amazing and beautiful place to visit. There are many varieties of fish. You can see from few centimetres small fish to about a metre long fish. Jelly fish section is really awesome. Easily spend 2 to 3 hours there. Medium size sharks are also there and stingray fish is also there.

  • It's basically a large underwater fish aquarium where you could walk under the fishes and the marine life. They have an amazing collection of large-sized fishes and other marine dwellings. They do a feeding of the fish where the specialists do underwater mouth feeding to fishes that's a great thing to watch. You can spend about 1-hour minimum here. The price of the ticket is kind of on the higher side, probably it's a foreigner price which is way expensive everywhere in Thailand. Go there only if you are into marine life. Must if you have kids.

  • First off, if you're a resident and have proof (e.g. driving licence, school ID (for kids)) take it as this halves the price, which really isn't cheap for this part of Thailand and what's on offer. The aquariums all seem clean and the animals in good condition but there isn't a lot of information in English (which is fine, names, both English and scientific is adequate). The standout feature for me was the hands on tank so you can touch some of the animals. As with a lot of these places there are pay for extras that vary in their worthiness. 60 baht to feed the turtles, 50 baht to feed the fish, 100-400 baht to have your photograph taken with a snake, etc. All this you can choose to do or not and the cheaper items seem to be genuinely worthwhile. There are three walk through tunnels with different fish in each and these did impress me. You have a great opportunity for photographs. The downside was the staff who keep on taking your picture even when you ask them not to. They are trying to sell you the pictures at the end but it's more than a little annoying. Also, if you've been to Rayong aquarium you'll be astonished at the price mark up with so little that's any better. It is a good enough aquarium but the experience is marred by the staff and the price.
